Itinerary:
Hinagdanan Cave

Hinagdanan cave, translated as “Ladder” in Cebuano, is one of the many wonderful caves on the island of Panglao

The cave was accidentally discovered by a farmer; while clearing his land, he found 2 holes, he threw a stone and heard a splash. He built a ladder "hagdan" and was able to go down into the cave and find her hidden beauty.

Dauis_Church.jpg

Dauis Church is founded by Fr. Diego de Ayala and Fr. Joseph Gregorio of the Jesuit order. The church was built in a variety of styles, influenced by Neo-Gothic and Neo-Classic architecture. On the ceiling inside Dauis Church are wonderful paintings made by Ray Francia and Canuto Avila in 1916. It was only in 1970 where Lito Arraya renovated the building.

bohol_bee_farm.jpg

The Bohol Bee Farm is a very homey and relaxing place on Panglao island. The Bohol Bee Farm is an agricultural haven situated on top of a cliff on Panglao dedicated to bee cultivation, organic farming, and healthy eating. Aside from growing diverse agricultural produce, Bohol Bee Farm also houses a resort and a restaurant where visitors can take time off from the city and find relaxation.

Shell

Museum for true connoisseurs of shells! but ordinary people may also be interested to see the variety of shells and marine life that are found around the Panglao Island. There is a souvenir shop at the Museum.

Alona Beach

While Bohol’s more popularly known as home to the smallest primates in the world and to the seemingly endless landscape of chocolatey brown hills, it’s also the home of Panglao Island where one will find pristine white sand beaches, stunning reefs, and crystal clear waters. If you’re a beach lover or sun-worshipper, don’t dare miss out on these five beaches.
